One of the things we love the most about the farm is inviting people to come share the experience with us. We have lots of activities and events each year at Leystone and we invite you to take a look and see what speaks to you!

SHEEP SHEARING!
FREE – NO ADMISSION
Join us from 4:00-8:00 pm to experience sheep shearing and to take part in the age-old practice of “skirting” the wool. This is a communal activity to prepare the wool to be sent to the mill before it is turned into yarn and roving. Families are welcome! Register to let us know you’re coming!

FREE TO ATTEND – LOTS OF GREAT THINGS TO PURCHASE!
Join us for our first event of the season! Visit our local farms from 10:00-3:00, meet the animals, connect with artisans from the region, and enjoy and amazing day of discovery for the entire family.

ART SHOW
FREE TO ATTEND – AMAZING ART TO VIEW AND PURCHASE
We are excited to welcome you to our next art show featuring our artist-in-residence, Sandra Bernier, who will provide a short talk about their collection of work flowing from their time with us on the farm.
WRITING WORKSHOP
PAID REGISTRATION REQUIRED – LIMITED SEATS
Author, designer, public speaker and visionary Robert Smith will join us for the day to offer his expertise and guidance to strengthen your writing. Part instruction, part conversation, and part practical, you will spend the day with an experienced and thoughtful author who will take us through practices that will support our ability to communicate and story tell through our writing.

HOLIDAY WREATH MAKING
FREE TO ATTEND – PAY TO MAKE A WREATH
Bring your family for this fun afternoon event to make your own Christmas Wreath from our grape vines. It’s super easy and we walk you through every step. Create special Christmas memories using traditional crafts and materials.
There is no price for admission but you do need to register in advance. We want to encourage you to come spend part of the holiday season with us. Wreaths are $40 – make as many as you like!
