Each Sunday from the beginning of June to the end of October, we’re opening our farms from noon to 5:00pm. Come for a visit. Relax with family and friends.

It’s free. It’s beautiful. And it’s all waiting for you.

This is your invitation to step out of all the busy-ness and take a beautiful drive into the country – just 30 minutes from Ottawa.

You can choose to drive along Mountain Road hugging the base of the beautiful Gatineau Hills or take in the view of the stunning Ottawa River on Highway 148. Both roads will lead you to us.

We’ve worked hard to make this as simple and enjoyable as possible. Here’s what you need to know:

It’s Free

  • Just come for a visit. We love to open our farms so come for a visit. We only ask that your leave a review before you go — tell us about your experience.

Location

  • Leystone Farms is nestled at the foot of the Gatineau Hills in Luskville, Quebec just 30 minutes from the bridges connecting Ottawa and Gatineau. We at 1965 RTE 148, Luskville, QC  J0X2G0
  • Mountain View Farm is right around the corner from us at 575 Chemin Crégheur, Luskville, QC J0X 2G0

No Dogs

  • We love our dog too but we do not permit other dogs on the farm — it creates all kinds of problems with the livestock. Thanks for understanding. 

Shopping?

  • Yes! We have a small Farm Store of honey and eggs and yarn and a few other things. Your support is deeply appreciated. 

Facilities

  • Washrooms are available at Leystone. 
  • Parking is available at no charge. It’s the country!!
  • We have picnic tables and shaded areas to rest.

Safety

  • Please dress according to the weather. We are a working farm after all!

Community

  • We are an inclusive and welcoming Farm. We accept everyone here and only ask that we all treat one another with deep respect and dignity.
