Rent a Boardroom as Unique and Special as You
Where we work matters.
There are times when we need to be in the office. There are times when we need to work alone. And then there are those important times when we need to bring our team together to reconnect, to plan, to do our most important work.
We have created a one-of-a kind meeting room that is 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa, but miles away from the ordinary. A hand-built meeting space on the edge of a vineyard, nestled between the Gatineau Hills and the Ottawa River.
The Essentials
We’ve worked hard to make this as simple and enjoyable as possible. Here’s what you need to know:
Location
- Leystone Farms is nestled at the foot of the Gatineau Hills in Luskville, Quebec just 30 minutes from the bridges connecting Ottawa and Gatineau. We at 1965 RTE 148, Luskville, QC J0X2G0
Capacity
- 6-8 people is a good number for a full-day in the Vineyard Studio Boardroom. We have had groups of 10 and it worked well even if it was a bit cozy. During the summer, a larger number is easier because the group can take advantage of the deck.
Language
- We can provide service in French or English.
Facilities
- Washrooms are available onsite.
- Hot and cold water is available on site.
- Parking is available at no charge.
- Catering can be arranged if your group would like to include a meal while you are here.
- We have picnic tables and shaded areas to rest.
Safety
- Please dress according to the weather. We are a working farm after all!
Community
- We are an inclusive and welcoming Farm. We accept everyone here and only ask that we all treat one another with deep respect and dignity.
Sharing
- You are welcome to take photos and share them.
Amenities on Site in the Vineyard Studio Boardroom
Free Parking
We have lots of parking available on our gravel drive way with video camera coverage of the area to ensure the security of your vehicles.
Washroom
Just steps from the Vineyard Studio Boardroom is our state-of-the-art composting toilet. It is odourless and effortless to use.
Hot & Cold Water
We have a water station that provides both hot and cold water. The hot water is not boiling but is hot enough for tea or hot chocolate (not provided).
Mini-Fridge
You can bring your lunch, a snack, or any other food items and pop them in our mini-fridge until you’re ready for a bite to eat.
Lots of Outlets
Powering your laptop or phone won’t be a problem as we have lots of outlets available.
Power Bars
We also have power bars and extension cords available for you to use if you need them.
Seating for 10
We have 10 very comfortable chairs available for you and your team. The chairs are ergonomic and plenty comfortable for the day.
Old School Flip Chart
Want to take notes as a group? You can do it on the big roll of craft paper that is suspended on the wall, Just roll it down and you’re ready to go. Markers, pens, and tape are all provided.
Recycling & Garbage
We care deeply about caring for the soil and the environment. Recycling and garbage receptacles are provided so we can ensure we protect the land we’ve been entrusted with.
Temperature Controlled
The Vineyard Studio Boardroom is the most-temperature controlled space on the farm. It has air conditioning for the summer and is cozy warm all winter.
Bright and Cheerful
The natural light is stunning as it pours in from the vista in front of the Vineyard Studio. We also have an additional 12 spot lights in the Boardroom so you can make the meeting room as bright as you need it.
Bluetooth Speaker
If you need a speaker — for a presentation or for the experience — we have a high-quality bluetooth speaker available for you.
Coat Racks
We have classic, old school coat racks if you need to get a bag, a coat, or an umbrella out of the way.
High-Speed Internet
High-speed internet is available at no charge. It’s powered by Starlink and has typical download speeds in excess of 100 Mbps.
Napkins, Cutlery, Plates & Cups
We provide biodegradable napkins, cutlery, plates, and cups if you have forgotten to bring what you need, so help yourself to them.
Windows that Open
It may not sound like a big deal, but it’s a big deal! You can listen to the birds just outside, or the sheep, and maybe the occassional rooster crow!
